Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and driven Project Manager to join our dynamic team specializing in the manufacturing of electrical distribution equipment. This role is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional with a strong background in transformers, switchgear, switchboards, and testing of electrical equipment. As a key liaison between our company and our clients, you will manage projects from order intake to delivery, ensuring precision, quality, and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management & Coordination:
- Manage projects involving the manufacturing of low voltage switchboards, medium voltage switchgear, medium voltage transformers, and containerized substations.
- Take ownership of project schedules, ensuring timelines are clearly defined and met by coordinating with internal teams and stakeholders.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle, providing regular updates and resolving issues proactively.
- Submittal Process:
- Oversee client purchase orders and coordinate with the engineering team to prepare and deliver detailed project submittals.
- Handle revisions, updates, and approvals, ensuring all documents meet client specifications.
- Supply Chain & Production Collaboration:
- Collaborate with the supply chain management team to ensure the timely procurement of materials once submittals are approved.
- Monitor material deliveries and address delays or issues to maintain project schedules.
- Work closely with the production team to ensure manufacturing aligns with approved submittals and adheres to quality standards.
- Customer Relationship Management (CRM):
- Utilize the company CRM system to manage project details, client communications, and key milestones.
- Ensure all customer interactions, updates, and project progress are accurately documented in the CRM for seamless tracking and reporting.
- Client Relations & Technical Support:
- Build and maintain strong client relationships by acting as the primary point of contact for project updates and concerns.
- Collaborate with the case management team to provide technical support for warranty claims and service-related issues.
- Use technical expertise to troubleshoot and resolve client concerns efficiently.
- Timeline Management & Accountability:
- Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring all tasks, milestones, and deadlines are clearly communicated and coordinated across teams.
- Proactively address any scheduling conflicts or delays to keep projects on track.
Qualifications:
- Industry Expertise: Minimum 5 years of experience in the electrical distribution industry, with a strong understanding of transformers, switchgear, switchboards, and equipment testing.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and submittal documents.
- Project Management: Proven success in managing complex projects, including coordinating cross-functional teams, meeting deadlines, and ensuring high-quality results.
- CRM Proficiency: Experience using a CRM system to manage project data, customer communications, and reporting.
- Client-Facing Experience: Skilled in building and maintaining client relationships, addressing concerns, and ensuring satisfaction.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts clearly and concisely.
- Problem-Solving: Adept at identifying issues, developing solutions, and implementing them effectively under pressure.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Project Management, or a related field is preferred. PMP certification is a plus.

Pay: $81,010.00 - $120,000.00 per year
