The Project Manager is responsible for large-scale flooring projects, primarily in casino’s, hotels, and convention centers. This role requires a highly organized and proactive individual who excels in planning, communication, and critical path management.
The successful candidate will collaborate with all company departments to ensure that projects are completed with high quality, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with all regulatory requirements and
customer expectations.
Reports to: Chief Operating Officer
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple large-scale flooring projects simultaneously, ensuring excellence in
execution.
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for optimal project outcomes.
- Initiate scope meetings with necessary parties such as, estimating, sales and the
- director of operations.
- Review and have a full understanding of assigned projects including plans, specs, scope
of work, labor, budgets, materials, and contracts.
- Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress.
- Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using
appropriate verification techniques.
- Report and escalate to management as needed.
- Maintain strong client relationships and manage all project stakeholders.
- Ensure financial objectives are met and adjust project constraints based on financial
analysis.
- Oversee material management- track cost against budget.
- Be the primary point of contact in the office for installers, estimators, and commercial
admin. Maintaining availability of communication, including after hours and weekends
as necessary.
- Perform periodic job site visits to audit payroll, inventory, and quality.
- Document all important project events, delays, conversations, and conditions for clients.
- Complete any required safety documentation such as AHA’s with assistance
from the commercial admin.
- Communicate any concerns from the customer, labor, purchasing, estimating, and
installation to the appropriate party. Follow up on resolution to all concerns.
- Initiate internal RFIs and ensure that field coordination issues are resolved and
any changes to plans and specs documented and communicated.

- Always providing proper notification and advance notice of absence.
- Reporting to work on time each day, after lunch breaks, etc., and not leaving early.
- Assuming responsibility for staying aware of changes in company policies and
procedures.
- Performing other duties and tasks assigned from time to time by the supervisor
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year

Experience:
- Commercial construction: 5 years (Required)
- Project management: 5 years (Required)
- Procore or similar program: 3 years (Required)
