Program Manager – Global Manufacturing Transfers
Location: Hybrid (3 days onsite)
Onsite Options: Illinois | Texas | New York
Compensation: $130,000– $170,200 + Bonus + Comprehensive Benefits
Our client are a well known global technology OEM.
We're seeking a Program Manager, Advisor to lead complex, large-scale manufacturing site-to-site transfer programs across its global network.
This role is responsible for ensuring alignment with business objectives, budget adherence, operational excellence, and quality standards. The ideal candidate brings strong manufacturing operations expertise, structured program leadership, and the ability to navigate cross-functional global environments.
This is a hybrid role requiring a minimum of three days per week onsite.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end execution of multiple large-scale global manufacturing transfer programs
- Develop detailed program plans including scope, schedule, budget, resource allocation, and success metrics
- Define technical requirements and measurable performance indicators
- Manage timelines, deliverables, and interdependencies across functions
- Ensure strict budget adherence and proper PO governance
- Drive execution across engineering, operations, supply chain, finance, and external manufacturing partners (including JDMs)
- Monitor KPIs, track progress, and implement corrective actions as needed
- Identify risks proactively and develop mitigation strategies
- Analyze operational data to identify process improvements and automation opportunities
- Apply Lean Six Sigma methodologies to improve network execution processes
- Consolidate project updates into executive-level status reporting
- Present program updates, risks, and recommendations to senior leadership
- Provide functional leadership and mentorship to Program Management team members
- Remove execution barriers and independently engage additional resources when required
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Master’s preferred)
- 8+ years of program/project management experience
- Demonstrated experience leading large-scale manufacturing transfer programs
- Strong background in manufacturing operations and product build processes
- Experience optimizing manufacturing processes using Lean Six Sigma tools
- Proven ability to use data analytics to solve business problems
- Experience working with Joint Design Manufacturers (JDMs)
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (Pivot Tables), Power Query, and Power BI
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in a global environment
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP certification
- Experience building and presenting business cases
