About the Role
MARLI New York is looking for a highly organized and energetic Creative Project Coordinator to support the planning, tracking, and execution of our integrated creative initiatives. In this position, you will play an essential role in bringing our brand creative to life, ensuring that every campaign and project moves seamlessly from initial concept to final production.
Reporting to the Sr. Creative Operations Manager, you will be an essential support to the creative team who ensures projects are delivered on time, on brief, and to a high creative standard. You are a master of timelines, a pro at identifying potential roadblocks before they happen, and an enthusiastic collaborator who can bridge the gap between creative vision and technical execution. The ideal candidate enjoys working with creatives, partnering with cross-functional teams, and is excited by the prospect of joining a global, founder-led fine jewelry brand.
Key Responsibilities:
End-to-End Project Management
- Content Creation: Support all aspects of content development, assisting with deliverables from ideation through final delivery.
- Workflow & Scheduling: Collaborate with Sr. Creative Operations Manager on comprehensive project schedules, defining key milestones, and managing daily workflows to ensure all deadlines are met.
- Resource Allocation: Partner with stakeholders to align on project goals, ensuring the right resources are assigned for successful, end-to-end completion.
Creative Production & Post-Production
- Support Sr. Creative Operations Manager with photo and video production planning and provide support on set when needed.
Communication & Stakeholder Management
- Meeting Ownership: Schedule and lead internal/external kickoff and status meetings to keep all parties aligned with project goals.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Foster strong partnerships across departments to ensure transparency and trust.
- Process Optimization: Support best practices and workflows for creative projects, effectively communicating these standards to the wider team.
Analysis & Risk Mitigation
- Tool Management: Utilize PM tool to track real-time project progress and analyze performance metrics for ongoing optimization.
- Problem Solving: Proactively identify potential risks to timelines or budgets and implement immediate solutions to keep projects on track.
Qualifications
- Experience: 3+ years of project coordination experience, ideally within a luxury brand, creative agency, or high-end retail environment.
- Software Proficiency: Proven experience with Monday.com or similar project management software (Wrike, Asana) and Figma. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
- Organization: Exceptional multitasking abilities with the skill to manage high-pressure deadlines across various projects simultaneously.
- Communication: Ability to distill complex project changes into clear, actionable updates for stakeholders.
- Creative Production: Familiarity with the lifecycle of creator-led content and the nuances of post-production (retouching, video editing, etc.).
- Channel Knowledge: Strong understanding of content needs across ecommerce, social media, and paid channels. Experience with print production is a plus.
