Title: Operations Manager
Work-Model: 2 days on-site out of their WeWork NYC office locations.
Compensation: $80,000 to $90,000 plus 10% discretionary bonus
Role Overview
- Lead US operations across Outbound USA, Inbound USA, and Latin America networks.
- Manage 3PLs, carriers, customs brokers, and delivery partners.
- Ensure SLA/KPI performance, cost control, and operational readiness for new business.
Key Responsibilities
1. Outbound USA
- Oversee door‑to‑airport execution (collection → injection → airline handover → linehaul).
- Manage warehouse, linehaul, airline handling, and documentation partners.
- Lead capacity planning and forecasting with Commercial and Account Management teams.
- Drive proactive exception management and root‑cause resolution.
2. Inbound USA
- Oversee US customs clearance, processing, and last‑mile delivery performance.
- Manage last‑mile partners' SLA compliance, scanning, claims, and investigations.
- Establish SOPs and escalation paths with origin teams.
- Mitigate service disruptions through rerouting, capacity adjustments, or temporary carriers.
3. Latin America Network
- Govern LATAM operations with focus on Brazil clearance, last‑mile delivery, and returns.
- Manage partner relationships and enforce KPI/SLA compliance.
- Support new linehaul/injection processes and operational launches.
- Identify opportunities to expand into new LATAM destinations.
Requirements:- 3-5 years of experience managing 3rd party suppliers - 3PLs, carriers, etc.
- Hands‑on operations experience; strong logistics/eCommerce background.
- Proven 3PL/carrier management with KPI/SLA governance.
- Ability to manage daily operations while driving improvement initiatives.
- Strong commercial awareness and COGs management experience.
