Job Type: Full-time
Who We Are
Bravo Team is an engineering design and fabrication company in Cornelius, NC, with a mission to bring freedom through innovation. Our 16,500 sq. ft. facility includes a design studio, assembly areas, and advanced fabrication tools. Our work integrates mechanical, electrical, and computer engineering, utilizing an in-house, end-to-end process to efficiently move from concept to production while ensuring top quality.
We value diverse experiences for the creativity and innovation they bring. If you prioritize integrity, excellence, growth, and collaboration, we encourage you to apply.
Your Role
As a Project Manager at Bravo Team, you will take full ownership of engineering project delivery – driving timelines, managing budgets, and making critical decisions to ensure our multidisciplinary teams deliver high-quality, innovative solutions on time and within scope.
This is not a traditional project management role. You must bring a strong technical foundation to credibly collaborate with and guide mechanical, electrical and controls engineers. You will oversee all aspects of project engineering including planning, resource allocation, risk management and client communication. In addition, our Project Management Office (PMO) is newly established and evolving. As such, you must be adaptable to changing processes and ready to help shape the structure and standards of project delivery at Bravo Team.
This position reports to the Director of Project Engineering.

- Proactively identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies, driving accountability across teams and making tough calls when priorities conflict.
- Collaborate with engineering leads and client stakeholders to define project objectives, technical scope, schedules, and deliverables.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the engineering teams.
Technical Collaboration and Guidance
- Work directly with mechanical, electrical and controls engineering teams, leveraging your technical background to understand design challenges, review progress, and provide informed guidance.
- Challenge engineering leads when necessary to maintain project timelines and budgets, balancing technical excellence with practical delivery constraints.
- Participate in technical design reviews, ensuring integration across mechanical, electrical and software systems while maintaining focus on project deliverables.
Budget & Schedule Management
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, track progress and make real-time adjustments to keep projects on track.
- Manage project budgets with full accountability, analyzing variances, forecasting costs, and making decisions to control spending while maintaining quality.
- Coordinate resource allocation across projects, working with management to balance workload and prioritize effectively.
Client & Stakeholder Collaboration
- Serve as a key liaison for clients, ensuring clear communication of progress, challenges, and changes while managing expectations professionally.
- Partner with fabrication, procurement, and manufacturing teams to transition designs efficiently into production.
- Represent engineering in client meetings, design reviews, and post-project evaluations, presenting data-driven recommendations and action plans.
PMO Development & Process Improvement
- Help build and refine Bravo Team’s emerging PMO structure, contributing to the development of standards, templates, and best practices for project delivery.
- Embrace evolving processes and organizational change, maintaining flexibility while driving consistency in project execution.
- Enhance project documentation, reporting, and communication systems to improve visibility, accountability, and data-driven decision making.
Innovation & Continuous Improvement
- Champion new tools, methods, and technologies to strengthen Bravo Team’s competitive advantage.

- 5+ years of engineering experience, including at least 3 years in a technical leadership or management role.
- Proven success leading multidisciplinary engineering teams in design, automation, or product development environments.
- Experience working in a consulting or client-facing environment where technical credibility and business acumen are both essential.
- Working knowledge of mechanical design principles, system integration, manufacturing processes, automation, control systems, and product lifecycle management.
- Ability to analyze data, identify issues, develop solutions and present clear, actionable recommendations to leadership.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders and engage credibly with engineering teams.
