What You’ll Do
In this role, you will support end-to-end truck transportation logistics, including:
- Coordinating truck transportation to ensure on-time, cost-effective deliveries
- Analyzing freight markets to negotiate competitive rates
- Building strong relationships with stakeholders and carriers
- Managing and maintaining freight rates, contracts, and customer data
- Tracking carrier performance through KPIs and resolving service issues
- Ensuring compliance with plant and customer shipping requirements
- Providing market insights and transportation expertise to internal teams
- Supporting capacity planning, rate negotiation, and shipment execution
- Identifying opportunities for process improvements and cost savings
Preferred Background – Brokerage Experience
Candidates with freight brokerage experience tend to excel in this environment.
