Summary
- Position Summary: Assumes responsibility for developing and implementing effective supply management processes for the Courier and Mailroom Services. Supervises departmental personnel to assure acceptable practices in accomplishing cost efficient activities and customer satisfaction.

- Supervises the day-to-day activities for the Courier and Mailroom Services.
- Creates, revises and implements policies, procedures and guidelines for efficient operations, efficient use of resources and maintaining a safe environment for these departments.
- Supervises, trains, and evaluates employees in all aspects of department operations including appropriate charging practices, materials management, logistics and inventory control.
- Incorporates organization and department goals with the daily activities of the staff and monitors progress toward these goals.
- Conducts and supervise evaluations for staff on an as needed and annual basis.
- Administers recognition and discipline as required based on staff performance.
- Assists Logistics Management with activities involving Patient Care Equipment Services PCES and Storerooms.
- Ensures quality standards and productivity goals are achieved.
- Ensures departments and storage areas are maintained in a clean, orderly, safe and secure condition.
- Responsible and accounts for all labor hours and timecards.
- Responsible for daily scheduling of personnel.
- The following duties are considered secondary to the primary duties listed above:
- Arranges for maintenance and repair of equipment.
- Makes recommendations for hiring, promotions and pay adjustments.
- Prepare and maintain necessary reports and records.
- Other duties as assigned by Logistics Management.
Responsibilities
- Minimum Required Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate degree preferred
- Minimum of three 3 years supervisory experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of basic principles of patient care equipment and logistics.
- Demonstrated knowledge of basic principle of materials management.
- Prior supervisory experience in logistics and or materials management.
- Demonstrated knowledge of performance evaluation and disciplinary action standards.
- Demonstrated knowledge of warehouse and inventory control.
