We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Carpet Cleaning Technician to join our disaster restoration team. This role is responsible for providing high-quality carpet, upholstery, and floor cleaning services for residential and commercial properties, often in post-loss environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform carpet, upholstery, and hard-surface cleaning using truck-mounted and portable equipment
Set up, operate, and maintain cleaning equipment safely and efficiently
Assess carpet and flooring conditions and determine appropriate cleaning methods
Apply cleaning solutions and treatments according to company standards
Communicate professionally with customers on-site
Maintain clean and organized work vehicles and equipment
Follow safety procedures and company protocols
Qualifications:
Experience in carpet cleaning or restoration preferred (will train the right candidate)
Ability to operate truck-mounted cleaning systems
Strong work ethic and attention to detail
Good customer service and communication skills
Ability to perform physical work (lifting equipment, bending, standing)
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Preferred Experience:
IICRC certification (or willingness to obtain)
Disaster restoration or water mitigation experience
Experience working in residential and commercial environments
