Responsibilities:
Leadership And Team Management
- Build, lead, mentor, and manage a multidisciplinary team of engineering professionals.
- Foster a collaborative culture that promotes innovation, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Provide strategic direction and support to team members, encouraging professional growth and development.
Project Management And Execution
- Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects, ensuring they meet quality standards and deadlines.
- Allocate resources efficiently and manage project priorities to align with company goals.
- Communicate project status, risks, and issues to senior management and stakeholders, ensuring transparency and effective decision-making.
Technical Guidance
- Provide expert technical guidance and support to the engineering teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management and marketing, to define technical requirements and develop innovative solutions.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices, driving continuous improvement in engineering and operational processes.
Strategic Planning And Development
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance the company's engineering and operations capabilities.
- Identify and evaluate new opportunities for innovation and growth in line with the company's mission and objectives.
- Manage the budget and resources for the engineering and operations departments, ensuring cost effectiveness and efficiency.
Quality Assurance
- Ensure that all engineering and operational projects meet rigorous quality standards and compliance requirements.
- Implement and maintain best practices for quality assurance, including code reviews, testing, and documentation.
- Champion a culture of quality and operational excellence across the organization.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years' experience in a technical leadership role, managing engineering teams and projects.
- Strong technical background
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, including the ability to inspire and motivate team members.
- Prior experience in manufacturing, aerospace, defense, and or chemical industries
