Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Outside Sales Rep based in Grand County, Colorado with typical weekly travel inside of Grand County, and infrequent travel to other mountain communities ( Routt, Pitkin, Summit, and Eagle counties). This is a high performance role for experienced, competent sales pros who can confidently run in-person appointments, price complex roofing jobs, and oversee them to completion.
This is not an entry level role. On target earnings will be $250,000 annually if sales and profitability targets are hit. You'll receive a competitive base salary of $75,000, plus a generous commission structure that rewards precision, follow-through, and profitability. Base salary has sales minimum targets that must be hit.
Responsibilities
- Screen company provided leads for compatibility.
- Generate leads for the company.
- Use our CRM to track status of up to 100 jobs at a time.
- Conduct in-person evaluations for roofing, heat cable, gutter projects, and more.
- Estimate jobs using our structured SOP's and estimating system.
- Prepare detailed work orders and communicate directly with crews.
- Maintain strong communication throughout job process, and document with photos. You will be communicating with customers, management, and crews.
- Travel regularly to job sites.
- Prepare regular status reports for management review.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of outside or in-home sales experience( roofing or comparable trades preferred).
- Strong estimating, communication, and negotiating skills.
- High integrity and professionalism- you'll own your work and follow through.
- Organized, accountable, and confident managing your own pipeline.
- Able to navigate roofs, climb ladders, and work in mountain weather.
- Valid drivers license needed. Truck included with the job.
- Strong roofing knowledge.
- Ability to read and understand plans.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively across various levels of the organization.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
