Job Title: Project Manager, Process & Documentation

Hours/Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8 am to 5 pm
Pay Range: $65.00 - $80.75/hr

Overview
This contract Project Manager role supports a long-term initiative focused on project coordination, process mapping, and high-quality documentation. The position partners closely with cross-functional stakeholders to lead initiatives, streamline workflows, and translate complex processes into clear, compliant procedures. The role is suited for a hands-on, highly organized contributor who drives execution and documentation excellence.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage project activities across multiple workstreams, including timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communications.
Develop, write, and maintain procedures, SOPs, work instructions, and internal guidance documentation.
Facilitate project meetings, track risks and issues, and provide clear, transparent status reporting.
Partner with subject matter experts to capture process requirements and translate them into actionable documentation.
Support change management activities associated with new or revised procedures and processes.
Ensure documentation aligns with organizational standards, compliance requirements, and audit readiness.
Monitor project progress and recommend adjustments to keep initiatives on track.
Maintain detailed project plans, documentation repositories, and project artifacts using standard PM tools.
Qualifications
Required
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
5+ years of project management experience in a professional or corporate environment.
Demonstrated experience authoring procedures, SOPs, work instructions, or operational guidance documents.
Proficiency with common project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, Planner, Visio, or equivalent).
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
High attention to detail with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred
PMP, CAPM, Lean Six Sigma, or similar certification.
Experience supporting cross-functional, non-IT initiatives.
Familiarity with document management and collaboration platforms (e.g., SharePoint, Teams).
Experience working in regulated environments such as pharma, biotech, healthcare, or manufacturing.
