Typically MARS has two hiring cycles per year. You’ll be contacted regarding the next hiring cycle after you follow the application process below. All positions are part-time unless specifically indicated otherwise.
Minimum Qualifications
- EMT Basic
- At least 21 years old
- One year full-time (or equivalent) EMS or clinical experience*
- A good driving record
- ICS-100 certified
- Internships are available for excellent candidates with less than one year EMS experience.
Desirable Qualifications
- Multi-lingual, including American sign language
- EMS special event and/or stand-by experience
- 911 system experience or Emergency Department experience
- ICS-200, 700 and 800 certified
- AWR-160 WMD/Terrorism Awareness for Emergency Responders certified
- HazMat Awareness or HazMat First Responder Operations certified
- FEMA IS-5: An Introduction to Hazardous Materials certified
