Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Healthcare Data Scientist specializing in Machine Learning (ML) and Artificial Intelligence (AI). Located in the San Francisco Bay Area, the role involves:
- designing and implementing ML/AI models to analyze and process healthcare data,
- developing advanced data analytics and visualization solutions,
- creating predictive models, and
- collaborating with cross-functional teams to derive meaningful insights.
The position also requires constant exploration of cutting-edge methodologies to enhance wellness recommendations provided by the platform.
Qualifications
- Ability to write code in SQL, R, or Python for processing large datasets in distributed cloud environments, and experience in processing and analyzing healthcare data.
- Proficiency in Data Science techniques, including machine learning and predictive modeling
- Strong skills in Statistics and Data Analysis for interpreting complex health data
- Graduate level understanding of techniques in machine learning, knowledge representation, and artificial intelligence along with a strong understanding of statistics.Competence in Data Visualization tools and techniques to effectively communicate findings
- Experience working with clinicians and researchers across disciplines to develop approaches for use in clinical care.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Biostatistics, or related field; a Ph.D. is a plus
Compensation: $2000-$3500 as a start
