Job Description:
We are seeking a meticulous and reliable Contents Cleaning Technician to join our disaster restoration team. In this role, you will be responsible for cleaning, pack-out, and restoring personal belongings (contents) affected by fire, water, or mold damage.
Responsibilities:
- Perform inventory, pack, and move contents from damaged residential/commercial properties.
- Clean, deodorize, and restore items such as furniture, electronics, clothing, and fragile household goods.
- Utilize specialized cleaning chemicals and equipment safely.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all packed and restored items.
- Provide excellent customer service to clients during stressful situations.
- Assist restoration and remediation crews on jobs if necessary
Requirements:
- Previous experience in cleaning, restoration, or content handling preferred but we can train you.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle fragile items with care.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
- Valid driver’s license.
- You must be able to pass a background check - no felonies
