World Honey Market, LLC seeks a Shipping Associate to oversee shipping operations at our Sanderson, Florida facilities. This hands-on role combines parcel shipping management with freight coordination to ensure our premium honey products reach customers and retailers efficiently.
The Opportunity
• Shipping operations: Manage day-to-day parcel and freight shipping activities
• Systems management: Process orders and shipments using QuickBooks and Shipstation
• Freight coordination: Arrange full truckload (FTL) and less-than-truckload (LTL) shipments

About World Honey Market
We control the entire honey supply chain from hive to shelf. Our production facility in Sanderson, Florida processes raw honey from our 26,000+ colonies and partner apiaries into retail-ready products for major big box stores and small local retailers. We're expanding through acquisitions and need shipping excellence to support our growth.
What You'll Do Parcel Shipping
• Process and fulfill parcel orders using QuickBooks and Shipstation
• Generate shipping labels and manage carrier selection for cost-effective delivery
• Pack and prepare products for shipment ensuring proper protection and presentation
• Track shipments and resolve delivery issues
• Maintain accurate shipping records and documentation
Freight Coordination
• Coordinate full truckload (FTL) shipments to retail customers and distribution centers
• Arrange less-than-truckload (LTL) shipments and consolidate orders as appropriate
• Schedule carrier pickups and manage dock appointments
• Prepare bills of lading and required shipping documentation
• Communicate with carriers, brokers, and customers on shipment status
• Negotiate rates and manage carrier relationships
Warehouse Support
• Load and unload shipments as needed
• Stage outbound orders for pickup
• Assist with inventory management and cycle counts
• Maintain organized and clean shipping areas
What We're Looking For Required Experience
• 2+ years experience in shipping, logistics, or warehouse operations
• Proficiency with QuickBooks and Shipstation (or similar shipping software)
• Experience coordinating FTL and LTL freight shipments
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to lift 75 lbs repeatedly (full 5-gallon buckets of honey)
• Valid driver's license
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in food manufacturing or agricultural shipping
• Forklift certification
• Knowledge of carrier networks and freight pricing
• Experience with retail compliance requirements (EDI, routing guides, MABD)
• Spanish language proficiency a plus
Essential Skills
• Organization: Ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities simultaneously
• Communication: Clear coordination with carriers, customers, and team members
• Problem-solving: Quick resolution of shipping issues and delays
• Technology: Comfortable learning and using shipping software systems
• Physical capability: Able to perform hands-on warehouse tasks as needed
Work Environment
• Location: Production facility in Sanderson, FL (approximately 45 minutes west of Jacksonville)
• Schedule: Monday-Friday with occasional overtime during peak shipping periods
• Physical requirements: Ability to lift 75 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods
• Environment: Warehouse/production facility with varying temperatures
