Day to Day:
We are seeking a dynamic, hands-on leader to transform our warehouse operations and build a strong foundation for long-term success. This role is critical in driving operational excellence, improving communication, and creating scalable processes across our warehousing function.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership: Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations with a strong presence on the floor (approximately 70% of time), ensuring productivity, quality, and output targets are met.
- Process Improvement: Assess current workflows, identify gaps, and implement solutions to optimize efficiency and reduce manual processes. Address underutilized systems and improve visibility across operations.
- Team Development: Lead and grow a team of ~50 employees, transitioning from a temp-heavy workforce. Mentor a young team, enforce accountability, and build a culture of performance and reliability.
- Technology & Systems: Leverage ERP experience (Epicor 21 preferred) to maximize system capabilities and streamline operations.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute 30-60-90 day plans with clear milestones and deadlines. Create processes and frameworks to support future growth.
- Change Management: Drive cultural change from a temporary workforce mindset to a long-term, engaged team environment. Implement policies and ensure consistent enforcement.
- Collaboration: Work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to align warehouse operations with broader business objectives.

The compensation ranges from 150K-175K + bonus. The range is based on experience level.
