Logistics Specialist/Lead

We’re looking for an individual contributor with recognized skills in a specialized role in the field of Distribution/Transportation.
What are we looking for? Minimum
- Bachelor's Degree OR
- 2 years of relevant experience in Transportation, Logistics, or Supply Chain
- Excellent Verbal Communication
- Ability to builds partnerships and works collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives
Preferred
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Transportation, Logistics, or Supply Chain
- 1-5 years experience in Transportation, Logistics, or Supply Chain; carrier facing
- Knowledge of transportation Management system applications, routing and dispatch software
What will be your key responsibilities? - Use data management systems to access specific information as and when required.
- Carry out a range of supplier management activities, either to support others or to fulfill the requirements of the role.
- Deliver required outcomes by coordinating activities of subcontractors and suppliers and acting as a primary point of contact for them while working within an established contract management plan.
- Help manage clients by carrying out standard activities and providing support to others.
- Provide operational support services and sometimes act as first-line supervisor of a transactional operations area. Involves using existing systems and protocols.
- Develop personal capabilities using existing formal and informal training opportunities, while also coaching others as required.
