Qualifications:

Master’s or Ph.D. in Engineering (Manufacturing, Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial) or a related technical field – 10+ years’ experience in leadership roles
Deep expertise in semiconductor manufacturing equipment industry
A documented track record of taking products from pilot stage to high-volume commercial production
Deep experience in high-speed assembly, advanced material processing, and NPI (New Product Introduction).
Expertise in Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and advanced quality tools; Six Sigma Black Belt is highly preferred
Strong ability to manage complex budgets and capital projects.
Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to influence executive-level stakeholders and motivate technical teams

Responsibilities:

Define and execute the long-term manufacturing technology roadmap to align with business goals
Research and implement cutting-edge automation and manufacturing technologies to maintain a competitive edge
Serve as the primary liaison between R&D/Design and Production to ensure products are robust and scalable (DFM).
Lead the seamless transition of laser-based technology from the lab environment to high-volume internal manufacturing
Apply Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to reduce waste, improve yields, and lower unit costs
Lead and mentor a high-urgency team focused on rapid problem-solving and disciplined documentation (ISO standards).
Manage the annual manufacturing budget (CapEx and OpEx) and justify major capital investments
Partner with Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain to move products from concept to commercialization
