Manufacturing Engineer

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, development, testing, and improvement of mechanical components, systems, and equipment.
Key Responsibilities
· Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, and systems from concept through production
· Create detailed 2D drawings and 3D models using CAD software in accordance with company and industry standards
· Perform engineering calculations, tolerance analysis, and material selection to ensure performance, safety, and durability
· Support prototyping, testing, validation, and design verification activities
· Collaborate with manufacturing to ensure designs are optimized for manufacturability, assembly, and cost efficiency
· Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives
· Troubleshoot design, manufacturing, or field issues and implement corrective actions
· Prepare and maintain engineering documentation including BOMs, specifications, and change requests
· Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and regulatory requirements
· Support new product introductions (NPI) and engineering change processes
Required Skills & Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline
· 2–7 years of experience in mechanical or design engineering (manufacturing or industrial environment preferred)
· Experience with product design, equipment design, or tooling/fixture design
· Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks)
· Strong understanding of mechanical principles, materials, and manufacturing processes
· Experience with GD&T and engineering drawing standards
· Ability to perform basic stress, thermal, and motion analysis
Work Environment
· Modern manufacturing facility environment with exposure to fumes, airborne particles, hazardous chemicals, moving mechanical parts, industrial equipment, and vibration
· Noise levels can be loud
Position Type & Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time non-exempt position with a minimum of 40 hours per week. Overtime may be required as needed. Days and hours may vary; flexibility is required.
