Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Forman to lead our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various construction trades and be capable of overseeing projects from start to finish. This role requires excellent leadership skills, a hands-on approach, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while ensuring high-quality workmanship.

Duties

Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the construction crew to ensure project timelines are met.
Perform heavy lifting and assist in various construction tasks including framing, concrete forming, and remodeling.
Oversee carpentry work, ensuring adherence to safety standards and quality specifications.
Manage construction painting tasks and ensure proper application techniques are followed.
Conduct regular inspections of work performed by team members, providing guidance and support as needed.
Collaborate with subcontractors for specialized tasks such as electrical work, masonry, and siding installation.
Maintain a clean and safe job site, enforcing safety protocols among all team members.
Communicate effectively with project managers regarding progress, challenges, and resource needs.

Requirements

License and Vehicle
Proven experience in construction management or as a Forman in the building industry.
Strong skills in frame carpentry, concrete forming, electrical work, masonry, maintenance person tasks, remodeling, and siding installation.
Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical labor as required on-site.
Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to changing project needs.
Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in construction environments.
Effective communication skills for interacting with team members and stakeholders.
