We are looking for a dedicated Logistics Clerk to join our team in Stafford, Texas. In this long-term contract position, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of warehouse and inventory processes, supporting both internal and external logistics requirements. Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily warehouse operations, managing materials for both organizational and external needs.
• Evaluate incoming materials and determine appropriate handling and disposition.
• Coordinate pre-kitting activities by assessing personnel and material requirements based on production schedules.
• Conduct regular inventory cycle counts and maintain accurate electronic inventory records.
• Identify replenishment needs and initiate procurement orders to ensure inventory readiness.
• Monitor and manage Kanban systems to support laboratory operations efficiently.
• Maintain logs and documentation in compliance with established work instructions and standard operating procedures.
• Execute picking and kitting tasks to meet manufacturing demands.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of materials based on their specific requirements.
• Provide shipping and receiving support to internal clients while adhering to safety protocols.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics, warehouse operations, or inventory management.
• Proficiency in logistics software such as SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, or similar systems.
• Strong knowledge of supply chain processes and inventory control methods.
• Familiarity with shipping, receiving, and warehouse environment best practices.
• Ability to safely operate equipment such as pallet jacks and carts.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills to meet production schedules.
• Understanding of regulatory compliance and adherence to company guidelines.
• Effective communication skills to coordinate with internal teams and external vendors.
