The Digifabshop Logistics Associate is responsible for packaging, loading, and unloading merchandise, supplies, materials, or completed projects, as well as driving company vehicles to deliver or pick up materials or completed projects as needed. The Logistics Associate is also responsible for assisting in the completion of various in-house carpentry projects as needed by Management.
Primary Responsibilities:
Package, load, and unload merchandise, supplies, materials, or completed projects safely and efficiently.
Maintain and organize required paperwork, receipts, packing lists, invoices, and other documents according to internal processes and procedures.
Perform all tasks in a safe and responsible manner in accordance with OSHA industry standards and Company policies and procedures in order to ensure accuracy, avoid personal injury, and damage to company property.
Qualifications
Able to use basic mathematics skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division) to compute amounts, such as space available, shipping, storage, or other calculations.
Able to read and navigate driving directions, safely maneuver vehicles in congested traffic, parking, and other complex situations safely and efficiently.
Physical Requirements:
Able to load and unload heavy product (weighing up to 80-100lbs) to/from the vehicle while navigating various surfaces, inclines, steps, and stairs.
Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, airborne particles, fumes, and loud noises. Employees are always required to wear P.P.E. while on the manufacturing floor.
