In search of a capacity specialist ultimately responsible for developing and managing carrier relationships and sourcing all freight required of the Full Good Fulfillment warehouse and requested from our customers in the greater CPG community and beyond. In this role you will leverage your industry expertise and operational efficiency to grow our transportation brokerage while upholding our white-glove service levels that all Full Good business entities take pride in providing to all of our clients.

Experience:
-5+ years of experience in logistics, transportation brokerage and/or capacity management.
-College degree preferred

Key Responsibilities:
- Negotiating pricing, sourcing & dispatching trucks that are compliant with all safety, insurance and regulatory requirements.
- Quoting and forecasting transportation costs and capacity needs based on market/historical trends and customer demands.
- Interacting & collaborating internally with our warehouse and client services team to support operational growth and fulfill all logistics needs.
- Developing strategic partnerships and managing relationships with all carriers establishing a reliable carrier network and improved cost optimization.
- Scheduling appointments and tracking all shipments ensuring load requirements and appointments standards are met.
- Optimizing white-glove service levels while reducing costs and improving service reliability.
- Identifying potential supply chain disruptions and developing strategies to maintain top quality service levels.
- Providing reporting based on carrier performance, customer preferences and KPI’s set.
- Eventually leading, training and growing a capacity team.

- Knowledge and deep understanding of carrier markets and transportation regulations.

- Proficiency in logistics software like TMS and lane pricing tools to improve visibility, automation and enhance real-time capacity management.
