Manufacturing Quality Engineer
Location: Atlanta, GA
Salary: $80,000 pa
Introductory Description
An innovative medical device company are looking for a Manufacturing Quality Engineer to join their growing manufacturing team scaling production of an FDA-cleared medical imaging system. You’ll play a key part in ensuring manufacturing compliance, supporting process validation, and driving continuous improvement on the production line.
Key Skills / Experience
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial, Biomedical, or related discipline).
- Working knowledge of ISO 13485 or 21 CFR 820 and GMP.
- Hands-on experience with process validation, CAPA, FMEA, and DHRs.
- Familiarity with risk management standards (ISO 14971).
- Strong documentation, data analysis, and problem-solving skills.
Beneficial:
- Experience with radiological or electromechanical medical devices.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and apply GD&T.
