Vice President of Operations
Location: Charlotte Metro (Onsite)
Compensation: Up to $250k base plus bonus
A growth-stage manufacturing organization is seeking a Vice President of Operations to lead end-to-end operational execution and build scalable systems as the business expands. This is a highly visible leadership role responsible for plant performance, Lean implementation, frontline execution, and leadership development in a dynamic, evolving environment.
What you’ll do
- Lead daily operations across production, scheduling/planning, maintenance, and warehousing
- Implement Lean processes, standard work, and performance routines to improve consistency and efficiency
- Establish and manage operational KPIs tied to safety, quality, throughput, and delivery
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on waste reduction, process optimization, and automation evaluation
- Build, coach, and develop a high-performing team while strengthening a culture of accountability and operational discipline
- Partner cross-functionally (Finance, HR, Engineering, Sales) to align operational capacity with growth goals
What we’re looking for
- 10+ years progressive leadership in small-mid sized manufacturing operations
- Proven ability to lead multiple operational functions
- Strong Lean / CI foundation with hands-on plant leadership
- A people-first leader experienced in hiring, developing, motivating, and performance-managing a diverse workforce
- Comfortable operating strategically while staying close to floor-level execution
