Venture Global is looking for a Quality Manager in Corpus Christi, TX to establish, implement, and periodically evaluate the Quality Management System for our fabrication facilities to ensure key contractor’s maintain compliance with all project specifications, drawings, codes, standards, and all federal, state, and local requirements.
Responsibilities
- Maintain full accountability for Expander Module Fabrication quality performance, including site execution and supplier quality.
- Lead quality governance, including NCR management, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and escalation.
- Perform regular on-site leadership in the yard to support critical milestones, readiness reviews, and management alignment.
- Oversee and mentor the on-site Quality team and resident inspection resources across E&I, welding, mechanical completion, and other disciplines.
- Facilitate supplier audits and quality risk assessments across key vendors, fabrication yards, and packaged systems.
- Ensure quality, documentation, and compliance issues are resolved prior to delivery to site to avoid schedule and cost impacts.
- Provide structured quality reporting, metrics, and executive summaries to Venture Global leadership.
- Interface with key contractors, inspection agencies, and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with company quality standards.
- Review and approve Project Quality Procedures, and Inspection and Test Plans to be implemented on the project site.
- Review quality control documentation such as checklists, logs, and reports for effectiveness, accuracy, and relevance.
- Review Final Record Books for compliance.
Qualifications
- Engineering degree or equivalent technical background.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in the Quality field with at least 5 years in a Management or Leadership Role.
- Experience in LNG liquefaction facilities preferred.
- Ability to perform multiple tasks, work within project deadlines and adjust as priorities change.
- Possess the ability to mentor others through technical training and guidance.
- Can read and interpret engineer drawings to include P&IDs, Civil/Structural plans and details, Electrical Wiring Diagrams, Piping Isometrics, etc.
- Exhibit excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Have advanced computer experience with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Projects, PowerPoint, and Excel Work products.
- Must have a current or ability to obtain a TWIC Card.
- Extensive experience in project and supplier quality management within energy, industrial, or large capital projects.
- Strong working knowledge of international codes and standards, including ASME B31.3, ASME Section VIII, API 617, and related mechanical and rotating equipment standards.
- Proven leadership experience managing multi-discipline inspection teams and complex contractor interfaces.
- Demonstrated ability to drive NCR prevention, effective CAPA, and continuous improvement.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage site teams, suppliers, and executive leadership.
