POSITON:
The Warehouse Coordinator position at San Diego FC (SDFC) is a role that leads the execution of a seamless Warehouse and Stadium back of house operation. Reporting to the Retail Operations Manager. The Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations to ensure efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of goods. This role coordinates inventory control, shipping and receiving activities, and warehouse staff to maintain accuracy, safety, and productivity while meeting company and customer requirements.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate daily warehouse operations, including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory storage
- Monitor inventory levels, conduct cycle counts, and resolve discrepancies
- Prepare and review shipping and receiving documentation for accuracy and compliance
- Schedule and coordinate inbound and outbound shipments with carriers and internal teams
- Ensure warehouse operations comply with safety regulations and company policies
- Maintain accurate records of transfers and outbound/inbound product
- Communicate with purchasing, production, and customer service teams regarding order status and inventory availability
- Train and support warehouse staff on procedures, safety practices, and system usage
- Identify opportunities for process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce errors
- Assist with audits, reporting, and performance metrics as required
- Lead and Execute BOH Operation on matchdays at Snapdragon Stadium
- Lead and execute RFID process and scans
- Make sure all products are tagged with UPC’s and accurate price
QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidates can meet the requirements with a combination of experience in the following areas:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 2+ years of warehouse, logistics, or inventory coordination experience
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems and inventory control processes
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, data entry)
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods
- Comfortable working in a warehouse environment
Preferred Skills:
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience with shipping carriers and freight coordination
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards
- Experience in lean or continuous improvement practices
