Infrastructure Manager
REPORTS TO: Executive Director of IT/OPS
Summary : Provides system support, assistance and training to employees and staff by performing the following duties.

Education and/or Experience : One year certificate from college or technical school; or two year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills : Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental/educational regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information, and respond to questions from groups of managers, staff, teachers, and the general public.
Mathematical Skills : Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra, and geometry.
Reasoning Ability : Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Computer Skills : To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of both PC and Mac OS; Windows Server 2012 - 2019; moderate networking skills; basic command line interface knowledge for windows, unix and linux operating systems; Active Directory; Internet software; Word Processing software; programming experience a plus.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit; stand and walk. The employee is occasionally required to move light to moderate equipment from building to building; load and or unload vehicles; pack and or unpack equipment.

- Excellent communication (oral and written), interpersonal, organizational, and presentation skills.
- Typing proficiency: 30-50 wpm.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities : Duties include the following. Other duties may be assigned as required.
- Provide Level II & III systems software and workstation support.
- Monitor the district's endpoint security software alerts
- Monitor district Cloud Servers status and perform needed maintenance
- Maintain staff and student Google Workspace environments
- Assist with district software systems integration and planning
- Assist with application deployment, maintenance and license management
- Assist with computer lab build/upgrade projects
- Assist with student systems online testing readiness
- Assist with onsite testing caching server deployment, management and maintenance
- Assist with development/updating systems standard operating procedures
- Assist vendors with system access and troubleshooting remotely and onsite
- Assist with vendor scope of work development
- Manage and maintain MDM for District owned devices.
- Assist with maintain filtering systems for student devices on site and off site
- Manage and maintain District backup and disaster recovery services and equipment.
- Evaluate new support systems/application system requirements for implementation.
- Assist with security checkup/audits and investigations
- Configure, maintain, and deploy camera servers and services.
- Assist with system image creation/updates and deployment
- Assist with new hardware/software testing and vetting
- Maintain filtering protocols, file shares, and active directory
- Provide client support and technical issue resolution via E-Mail, phone and other electronic mediums.
- Provide basic end user security guidance and support
- Perform light lifting 25lbs.
- Perform creation of privileged accounts using district provided software tools.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
