As a Starbucks senior project manager, you’ll play a key role partnering with the International Brand team to support program management as part of the team responsible for international marketing and product execution - from planning through delivery. This role will be pivotal in aligning cross-functional teams, ensuring timely delivery of key projects, and enabling seamless collaboration between global and regional stakeholders. As a senior project manager, you will…
- Serve as primary project management contact for highly complex and visible international brand marketing and product initiatives, ensuring alignment with global brand strategies while supporting regional adaptations to meet market-specific needs.
- Lead cross functional team(s) to manage programs or projects to improve the operational capability from planning to execution.
- Manage and monitors project or program schedules and progress to ensure expected results are delivered on time and within budget, with the ability to anticipate & mitigate challenges and escalate risk when necessary to successfully gain alignment on best path forward.
- Influence processes for improving business planning, cross functional communication, work integration and teamwork between partners from cross-functional departments to achieve KPIs.
- Apply experience in managing external vendor and internal relationships in a highly matrixed organization to successfully brief and guide work through the strategic, creative development, and delivery process.
- Act as a central liaison across global, regional, and local teams, fostering collaboration across multiple time zones.
- Partners with cross functional team to track success metrics and program performance measures to evaluate program effectiveness and to integrate learnings into future initiatives.
- Leading projects through ambiguity, rolling up sleeves to pave a way forward when next steps aren’t always clear.
- Identify risks, anticipate roadblocks, and develop proactive solutions to mitigate potential issues.
We’d Love To Hear From People With
- Experience in marketing fields, preferably with international or cross-regional campaigns.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
- Ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines - change management skills
- Ability to define objectives, scope and resources for projects extending beyond a department or business unit
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to establish cross functional, collaborative relationships with business partners, and lead cross functional teams (5+ years)
- Ability to lead complex program and project efforts to completion (5+ years)
- Project management, including all elements of scope, time, cost, risk, quality, integration, procurement, human resources, and communications (5+ years)
- Managing complex large-scale or multiple mid-sized projects (5+ years)
- Requirements gathering and analysis (5+ years)
- International experience working across highly matrixed teams and multiple time zones is strongly preferred, including strong understanding of global strategies with regional nuances.

- If you are working in CA, CO, IL, LA, ME, MA, NE, ND or RI, you will accrue vacation up to a maximum of 120 hours (190 in CA) for roles below director and 200 hours (316 in CA) for roles at director or above. For roles in other states, you will be granted vacation time starting at 120 hours annually for roles below director and 200 hours annually for roles director and above.
The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. At Starbucks, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
