The premier provider of HVAC/Mechanical design, installation, and service in the Mid-Atlantic region is looking for a Sheet Metal Foreman to join our team in Beltsville, MD!
Our Sheet Metal Foreman will have extensive commercial experience to lead our team on various projects. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in sheet metal work, be proficient in reading blueprints, and have the leadership skills necessary to guide a team effectively.
The Role at a Glance:
- Oversee and coordinate sheet metal installations on commercial job sites, ensuring projects meet company quality and safety standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project specifications to guide installation and fabrication processes.
- Lead, train, and supervise a team of sheet metal workers, maintaining high productivity and morale.
- Collaborate closely with project managers and other trades to ensure timelines and budget goals are met.
- Conduct inspections and quality checks to ensure all installations meet industry and company standards.
- Troubleshoot any project issues and provide effective solutions to minimize delays.
What We’re Looking For:
- 7 to 10 years of commercial sheet metal experience, including 2+ years in a leadership role.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and best practices in the field.
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members, project managers, and subcontractors.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- OSHA certification is a plus.
