Roots Decks & Remodels is a locally owned, growing construction company specializing in home remodels, interior renovations, and custom decks for residential homes and small businesses. We're looking for a Skilled Carpenter with strong experience in remodeling to join our team.

What You’ll Do
- Work on residential remodels, including kitchens, bathrooms, basements, and general interior renovations.
- Assist with or lead deck builds, porch remodels, and exterior carpentry.
- Complete framing, trim work, drywall repairs, flooring installs, window and door installs, and other remodeling tasks.
- Read and follow plans, take accurate measurements, and execute work with strong attention to detail.
- Collaborate with the Project Manager, Project Coordinator and crew to keep projects on schedule.
- Uphold Roots standards for quality, cleanliness, and customer communication.
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of carpentry experience, specifically in remodeling/renovations.
- Experience with both rough and finish carpentry.
- Ability to problem-solve in older homes and real-world remodel environments.
- Ability to lift materials, use power tools safely, and work in various weather conditions.
- A positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to work as part of a respectful, team-first environment.
- Valid driver’s license required.
Bonus: Experience with flooring, tile, drywall finishing, or minor electrical/plumbing is a plus.
