Role Overview:
Take full ownership of end-to-end delivery for development and production support projects within the Retail Insurance business. You will manage approximately 1,600 billable hours per month using a Global Delivery Model, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership in project execution, financial management, and team performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Delivery & Ownership:
- Drive successful delivery and implementation of projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Manage project risks proactively and implement mitigation strategies.
- Take complete accountability for team performance and project outcomes.
- Financial Management:
- Oversee billing, resource allocation, and project updates in budgeting systems.
- Provide accurate revenue Best Estimates (BE) to management.
- Proposal & Scoping:
- Prepare Statements of Work (SOWs) and secure internal/client approvals within defined SLAs.
- Own change management processes for project scope.
- Estimation & Planning:
- Lead estimation activities aligned with organizational quality and productivity goals.
- Plan resources effectively and ensure accurate allocation of team members.
- Scheduling & Tracking:
- Develop detailed project schedules, baseline them, and manage changes.
- Track progress, control scope, and report status to stakeholders.
- Risk Management:
- Create and execute risk management plans to minimize project disruptions.
- People Leadership:
- Mentor senior team members and enable competency development for juniors.
- Implement performance management practices as per organizational guidelines.
Qualifications:
Required
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution.
- At least 12 years of experience in the job description below.
Preferred
- Delivering with on-shore and off-shore teams.
- LOMA Certifications.
