Duties and Responsibilities
Lead a team of carpenters and laborers on-site.
Study specifications in blueprints, sketches, or building plans to prepare project layout and determine dimensions and materials required.
Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean environment.
Perform skilled carpentry work including framing, trimming, fixtures, such as cabinetry, doors, windows and molding, drywall and finish work.
Measure, cut, or shape wood, plastic, fiberglass, drywall, and other materials.
Construct building frameworks, including wall studs, floor joists, and doorframes, using woodworking machines, carpenter’s hand tools, and power tools.
Erect scaffolding and ladders for assembling structures above ground level.
Finish surfaces of woodwork or wallboard, using paint, hand tools, and paneling.
Work with and/or remove hazardous material.
Perform minor plumbing, tiling, HVAC, welding and/or concrete mixing work.
Train and mentor junior team members to develop skills and ensure quality workmanship.
Monitor inventory of materials and tools and request purchases when necessary.
Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
Desired Skills, Qualifications & Experience
High School Diploma
4 years of professional carpentry experience.
Experience running heavy equipment such as skidsteer, forklift, dump truck, crane, and backhoe.

Working Conditions
Able to work a flexible work schedule with varying days and hours, including call-ins.

Physical requirements
Able climb ladders and stairs and lift up to 100lbs
