Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Construction Project Manager to oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction management, project scheduling, and coordination, ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. This role requires effective communication with stakeholders, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to navigate complex project requirements.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage construction projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure project specifications are met.
- Utilize construction management software such as ProCore and Primavera P6 for project tracking and reporting.
- Prepare detailed construction estimates and budgets using tools like HeavyBid.
- Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera for efficient workflow management.
- Oversee the reading of blueprints and schematics to ensure compliance with design specifications.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, address issues, and ensure safety compliance.
- Manage contracts with vendors and subcontractors to ensure quality work is performed as per agreements.
- Implement effective time management strategies to optimize project efficiency.
- Facilitate communication among team members and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Skills
- Proficient in construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Civil 3D, and HeavyBid.
- Strong understanding of construction estimating techniques and methodologies.
- Excellent project scheduling abilities with a focus on timely delivery of milestones.
- Proven experience in project management and coordination within the construction industry.
- Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, contracts, and civil engineering principles.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
