Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Construction Project Manager to oversee and coordinate electrical construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, electrical knowledge, and proficiency in construction management tools. This role requires a detail-oriented professional capable of managing multiple projects, ensuring safety compliance, and delivering projects on time and within scope. The Project Manager will play a pivotal role in planning, executing, and closing projects while maintaining excellent communication with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage electrical construction projects, ensuring adherence to project scope, schedule, and budget
Develop detailed project plans utilizing tools such project scheduling software
Coordinate with clients, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams to facilitate seamless project execution
Review blueprints, schematics, and system design documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with NEC standards
Prepare and oversee construction estimating using estimating tools
Manage contracts, change orders, and procurement processes to optimize project profitability
Monitor project progress through site visits or meetings; address issues proactively
Ensure safety protocols are followed according to OSHA regulations and company policies
Coordinate construction site activities with General Foreman
Maintain detailed project documentation including schedules, budgets, RFIs, submittals, and progress reports
Lead project team meetings to coordinate activities and resolve issues efficiently

Experience

Experience with electrical systems within the construction industry
Background in construction management with a focus on electrical projects
Knowledge of NEC codes, system design principles, schematics reading, and blueprint interpretation
Demonstrated expertise in project scheduling
Familiarity with construction estimating software such as Accubid
Prior experience managing large-scale electrical or industrial construction projects on-site not required, but is a plus
Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively
Strong understanding of contracts administration and project coordination processes
Hands-on experience with construction site safety standards and protocols
Dedicated team player with excellent communication skills
Willingness to travel approximately 25% to project sites as required
Valid drivers license with an acceptable driving record
