Position Overview:
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical & Plumbing Project Manager to oversee and manage construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing large-scale, complex projects with a deep understanding of the construction sectors. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Lead and manage multiple projects from inception to completion, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure. Ensure adherence to project scope, timelines, and budgets.
- Client Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring their needs and expectations are met throughout the project lifecycle.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor project teams. Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Compliance: Ensure all projects comply with industry regulations, safety standards, and quality requirements. Manage any necessary permits and inspections.
- Budgeting and Cost Control: Develop and manage project budgets, including cost estimation, procurement, and financial reporting. Identify and address any potential cost overruns.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. Resolve issues and conflicts promptly to minimize project disruptions.
- Documentation: Oversee the preparation and maintenance of all project documentation, including contracts, reports, and progress updates.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in project management or industry knowledge within the construction sector.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field experience in mechanical & plumbing construction.
- Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of mechanical construction processes, project management, and industry regulations specific to construction sectors.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a track record of successful project delivery.
- Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality and safety standards.
