Civil Land Development Project Manager
We are looking for a qualified candidate to fill an opening as Civil Project Manager. The ideal candidate would provide all aspects of project leadership from beginning to end of project. The Project manager shall provide leadership and direction for all team members. Be a responsible representative of Cartwright Nor Cal. Maintain relationships and services for existing clients.
Position Type:
Exempt, Salary. Flexible schedule required due to project demands, client requests, deadlines and activities.
Qualifications:
- Registered Professional Engineer in the state of California. License must be maintained current and in good standing.
- 3+ years’ experience preparing and managing land development projects and overseeing design staff.
- The ability to generate leads and client contracts to maintain billing capacity of the design team and assist with division growth.
- Production capacity with a high-level proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
- The ability to design stormwater conveyance systems, LID treatment systems, retention and hydro-modification systems, and post construction stormwater detention.
- The ability to produce stormwater reports meeting jurisdictional requirements.
- Good verbal and written communication skills
Performance:
The Project Manager is in direct contact with clients, subconsultants, agencies and staff to successfully complete projects and meet or exceed client goals and expectations. Doing so by demonstrating attention to quality deliverables, schedules and project budgets. Be a mentor to team members and promote a positive culture to the Cartwright Nor Cal work environment. The Project Manager shall work to establish and maintain a positive reputation for Cartwright as a consulting firm which provides a quality constructible product and services at a reasonable fee.
Employment Function:
Provide project leadership, direction and be responsible for all facets of a project from beginning to end. Be a leader and positive role model for Cartwright Nor Cal and team members. The project manager shall procure contracts to maintain the division’s backlog and growth. This shall include being responsible for your actions and conducting yourself in a professional manner while representing Cartwright Nor Cal.

Pay: $140,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
