Window Installer/Finish Carpenter - Immediate Hire (Ballard, Seattle)

Join Seattle's oldest window manufacturer, a family-owned and operated company since 1961! We are looking for a dedicated and physically capable Window Installer to join our team immediately. We are happy to train the right motivated candidate with a solid construction or finish carpentry background.

Highlights & Compensation

Location: Ballard, Seattle
Schedule: Full-time, Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (some seasonal overtime)
Pay: WEEKLY PAY PERIOD

Commitment & Qualifications

We are seeking a highly reliable and physically resilient individual. A strong work ethic and commitment to quality are non-negotiable for this role.

Physical Capability: Candidates must be physically capable of regularly lifting and carrying heavy items (e.g., window units, glass) and performing strenuous activity throughout the workday.
Experience: Previous experience in the window, glass, or finish carpentry/construction industry is A HUGE PLUS, but we will train someone eager to learn and committed to the trade.
Skills: Work comfortably with power tools, possess knowledge of simple math including reading tape measures, and demonstrate a proactive attitude.
Attention to Detail: Ability to multi-task and maintain high attention to detail is necessary for finish work.
Driving: Valid Driver's License REQUIRED, without extensive poor driving history.

Responsibilities

Your duties in the field may include, depending on experience:

Field installation (block frame, nailing flange, stucco fin).
Precise trim work and finish carpentry.
Siding cut back.
Safe operation of power tools (circular, table, and chop saws).
Performing necessary ladder work.
