Duties
- Perform water damage restoration tasks including extraction, drying, and dehumidification to prevent further property deterioration.
- Conduct fire restoration activities such as debris removal, smoke odor mitigation, and surface cleaning to restore spaces to their original condition.
- Execute mold remediation procedures by identifying mold growth, setting up containment areas, and safely removing mold-infested materials.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for demolition, cleaning, and repair work during mitigation projects.
- Assist with asbestos abatement procedures in compliance with safety regulations to ensure healthy environments for clients and team members.
- Carry out carpet cleaning using specialized equipment to remove stains, odors, and contaminants.
- Support construction-related tasks such as minor repairs or rebuilds necessary for property restoration.
- Maintain detailed documentation of all mitigation activities, including photos, reports, and logs for project tracking and quality assurance.
- Follow safety protocols rigorously to ensure a secure work environment during all mitigation activities.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional service while adhering to industry standards in restoration practices.
Experience
- Prior experience in the restoration industry not required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 50 per week
