Shull Roofing is seeking an experienced Installer to lead a siding and gutter crew.
Shull Roofing is a family-owned roofing company serving Central Kansas through 3 local offices throughout the state. With over 20 years of experience in the home improvement industry, we are known for providing exceptional service and high-quality results. We are expanding our team and seeking an experienced Installer to help manage and execute siding, gutter, and exterior repair projects.
Job Description:
As a Lead Installer at Shull Roofing, you will be responsible for the installation of residential siding and gutter systems, along with replacing fascia and trim wraps, repairing wood rot, making minor roof repairs, and taking on other tasks as needed. Those who bring skills and abilities above and beyond what the position calls for will be compensated fairly for their contribution at Shull Roofing.
You will lead with one to two laborers, ensuring quality work, adherence to safety standards, and timely completion.
The ideal candidate will have significant experience in gutter installation, siding installation, window installation, fascia and window wraps, leadership skills, and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Travel to and from jobsites throughout central Kansas.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through communication about every aspect of the project
- Coordinate and oversee all onsite activities of home improvement projects, ensuring timeliness and quality control.
- Ensure proper installation techniques are followed to prevent leaks, ensure proper water flow, and maintain the cleanliness of the property.
- Maintain a clean and safe job site and enforce safety standards for the team.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and training to team members on proper installation procedures and safety protocols.
- Communicate with clients to address questions, provide project updates, and ensure satisfaction.
- Maintain an organized inventory of materials and tools for each project.
- Document progress and track scheduling using an online app
- Work closely with other departments and supervisors to ensure smooth project flow and completion.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in exterior home improvement.
- Proven experience as a lead installer or team leader.
- Strong knowledge of siding and gutter systems and installation practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to read and interpret work orders and material orders on a mobile app.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work in varying weather conditions.
- Valid driver’s license with clean DMV record
- Transportation to and from the shop
- Proper loading, securing, pulling and backing of trailers.
- Safety-conscious.
- Ability to work independently and manage a small team effectively.
