Reputable company seeks to hire an experienced Logistics Manager.
Responsibilities to include but not limited to:
- Direct all supply-chain and logistics operations for a high-volume, temperature-controlled operation with national and cross-border reach.
- Manage a mixed asset and brokerage model including refrigerated fleet operations, LTL/FTL/drayage, intermodal, and power-only services from Philadelphia-area ports and beyond.
- Build, scale, and lead a best-in-class sales and brokerage organization with dedicated coverage across all major lanes in the United States and Canada.
- Oversee a 24/7/365 dispatch and customer service operation focused on real-time tracking & proactive exception management.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using TMS, ELD, visibility platforms, and data analytics to optimize load planning, routing, cost-per-mile, and service levels.
- Collaborate with safety manager regarding compliance, and risk-management programs (DOT, FMCSA, FSMA, insurance, and claims) for both company drivers and contracted carriers.
- Partner with executive leadership on strategic growth: New market entry, capacity expansion, and technology investments.
- Monitor P&L for the logistics and brokerage division, delivering aggressive year-over-year revenue growth and margin expansion.
- Recruit, develop, and retain top industry talent — drivers, brokers, operations staff, and sales professionals.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years of progressive logistics/supply-chain experience (refrigerated strongly preferred)
- Proven track record in fleet management, LTL/FTL brokerage, dispatch operations, refrigerated transportation, and port drayage.
- Demonstrated success building and scaling sales/brokerage teams with geographic expansion experience (US and Canada coverage a plus).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
