Logistics Specialist – SAP / Warehouse & Inventory Operations (12-Month Contract | Onsite | King of Prussia, PA)
We are supporting a global life sciences organization looking for two Logistics Specialists to join their onsite operations team. This role focuses on warehouse logistics, inventory control, and SAP-driven execution to support production and distribution workflows.
This is not a transportation planning role, the hiring manager specifically wants candidates with hands-on warehouse/logistics execution experience and strong SAP skills.
Start Date: January 19, 2026
Duration: 12 months, high likelihood of extension
Hours: 40/week, standard business hours
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute daily warehouse & logistics operations to support manufacturing and distribution schedules
- Manage inventory accuracy through SAP (goods movements, cycle counts, reporting, discrepancies)
- Support inbound/outbound material flow across raw materials, components, and finished goods
- Collaborate closely with Planning, Procurement, and Quality teams
- Ensure compliance with site safety and regulatory requirements
- Maintain accurate documentation within SAP: WM/IM/MM/LE transactions
- Contribute to continuous improvement in warehouse processes and material flow
🎯 Required Experience:
- 6+ years Logistics experience (warehouse operations, inventory, distribution)
- 4–6 years Warehouse & Distribution experience (hands-on, floor operations)
- 4–6 years SAP experience — must be hands-on, preferably in:
- SAP WM
- SAP IM
- SAP MM
- SAP LE
- Strong communication & problem-solving skills
- Experience in manufacturing, consumer goods, pharma, biotech, or regulated industries preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field preferred
❌ Not a Fit If Your Background Is Mainly:
- Transportation planning (FTL/LTL/Ocean/drayage)
- Carrier management / freight optimisation
- Route planning
- Logistics strategy without operational warehouse involvement
- Limited or no SAP hands-on experience
