Champagne Logistics is a leading specialized transportation and data center relocation service provider.

Due to continued growth we have an opening for an experienced Move Coordinator to quote, plan and coordinate relocation projects for our Project Logistics team.

Our Project Coordinators work closely with our customers from initial inquiry through to final invoice ensuring the highest level of customer service and attention to detail.

The successful candidate will perform various tasks, such as preparing quotes and schedules, researching pricing from our partners, scheduling resources, maintaining project documentation, and keeping our move management system updated.

Responsibilities

Work with customers and colleagues to understand the project scope, schedule site surveys and client meetings.
Work with regional partners and internal operations teams to research pricing and calculate move quotes.
Coordination of moves including preparation of documentation, create and issue work orders, scheduling shipments with carriers, coordinate labor resources, updating the transportation management system.
Monitor and communicate project status, issues and outcomes, to clients and the Project Team.
Manage Purchase Orders, change orders and monitor project budgets.
Obtain signed documentation needed to close out the project.
Maintain project notes, our TMS system, and moves schedule.
Act as a liaison between Finance and external vendors to obtain and approve vendor invoices.
Ensure service level commitments are achieved and maintained in accordance with the SOW and company objectives.
Work with agents, drivers, internal sales teams and 3rd party carriers to resolve issues.
Provide support to members of the move team.

Qualifications:

A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, Word, Excel, Outlook, and .pdf viewer/editors.
Ability to learn and become proficient in transportation management software.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong client-facing and teamwork skills.
Ability to understand and calculate weights and dimensions.
Ability to read and understand floor plans or construction drawings is an advantage.
