Position Summary
The Engineering Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing engineering projects within manufacturing or industrial environments. This role ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety and regulatory standards. The position involves managing resources, schedules, and stakeholders while driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management:
Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans, based on project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
Monitor progress, report, and implement corrective actions as needed.
Engineering Oversight:
Coordinate design, procurement, and installation of equipment and systems.
Ensure compliance with engineering standards and best practices.
Regulatory & Safety Compliance:
Secure necessary permits and ensure adherence to local, state, and federal regulations.
Maintain compliance with environmental and safety standards.
Stakeholder Communication:
Provide regular updates to leadership and project stakeholders.
Manage vendor relationships and assist with contract negotiations.
Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities for process optimization and cost savings.
Implement best practices for project execution and risk management.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Industrial, or related field).
5+ years of experience in project management within manufacturing or industrial settings.
Strong knowledge of engineering principles, construction, and equipment installation.
Familiarity with permitting and regulatory compliance.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
PMP certification or equivalent preferred.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in project management software (MS Project, Primavera, etc.).

Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
