As a laborer at RJM Construction, you will perform tasks involving physical labor at construction projects. Operate a variety of hand and power tools. Clean and prepare sites, perform demolition work, clean up rubble and debris and remove waste materials. May assist other craft workers.

ESSENTIAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

Demolition of job sites in preparation for construction
Material handling and storage
Maintain a clean job site: pick up all tools and equipment and secure job site each day in order to eliminate potential hazards.
Ensure that proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed. Bring problems to the attention of the Foreman, Safety Director or HR Manager.

Education:

Any combination of education and experience that demonstrates the knowledge and ability to perform the work.

Work Experience:

Previous experience performing manual labor in the commercial or residential construction industry.

Demonstrated Technical Competencies to include:

Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Adobe Creative Suite, Viewpoint CS and Sage/Timberline experience desirable, but not necessary

Demonstrated Professional Competencies to include:

Knowledge of first aid and applicable safety precautions
Ability to work independently and complete activities according to work schedule
Ability to lift heavy objects, walk and stand for long period of time
Ability to communicate orally and in writing

This is a Safety Sensitive position.

Valid Union card required

The hourly pay rate for the Union Laborer position is $43.39. Please note that wage rates are subject to change based on the release of updated union wage rate sheets for the 2025-2026 period.
