One of Saratoga most respected boutique contractors is currently hiring. Work in a high end construction and learn from one of the best. Northern Dean is in need of an experienced builder who is proficient in all aspects of construction from start to finish buildings and complete remodels! The ability to work independently and be a self starter is high request for this position.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS MAY INCLUDE:

Moving, securing, installing, building, and loading or unloading materials
Assisting in the building or construction of various things

Some specialized tasks may require on-the job training

Effectively using heavy and light equipment, depending on the jobsite/assignment

Ability to take direction and work well with others

Willingness to learn new way and expand knowledge while working with others

Pay will depend on experience

Job Duties:

Reading and interpreting blueprints
Understanding customer requirements
Responding to change orders
Performing other trades (light electrical, plumbing, tile and granite, etc.)
Operating light equipment (Bobcats, forklifts, etc.)
Managing or working with subcontractors
Recommending job improvements, alternative methods, etc. (problem solve)
Knowledge of building codes and regulations
Knowledge of job site safety rules and regulations (OSHA)
Knowledge of woods and their uses and adaptability
Knowledge of methods, tools, and equipment used in carpentry
