ABOUT THE POSITION
Compensation will be based on experience.
This position is Full Time. Our regular hours are Mon-Fri, 7:00-3:30 with occasional overtime. Job Location is 32254 near HWY Ave and Ellis Rd. Employees earn PTO from day 1, that can be used after 90 days of employment. Employees are eligible for health, dental and vision insurance after 60 days, and 401K matched contributions after 1 year.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Responsible for coordinating and supervising all traffic functions relating to freight movement, maintaining prescribed service levels while keeping costs at a minimum.
- Interfaces with multiple carriers and shipping brokers to resolve any problems associated with scheduling and dispatching.
- Maintains and promotes policies and procedures that meet cost and service objectives and production and customer needs.
- Manages freight claims ensuring they are processed and collected in a timely manner.
- Reviews and confirms Fenetex Delivery routes and ensures manifested product is correctly loaded for routes and documentation is complete.
- Investigates cause analysis issues for problem reconciliation and lead corrective action for complaints related to transportation, logistics handling and warehousing of finished product.
- Consistently supports customer care service objectives.
- Reconciliation of freight invoices with customer shipping charges, confirming accuracy and collection/crediting customers as necessary
- Ensures the company maintains compliance with Federal and State regulations regarding intrastate commerce for company owned delivery vehicles.

Job Skills Required
- Must have experience with managing multiple vendors
- Proven ability to negotiate best rates and secure volume discounts with LTL carriers and Freight Brokers
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite, advance level Excel.
- A working knowledge of ERP/WMS is required.
Education & Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent required, Bachelors preferred.
- Minimum 8+ years of direct experience in a similar industry
- Working knowledge of regulations relating to transportation operations, coupled with experience with a variety of logistics sourcing strategies.
- Demonstrated skills associated with building vendor relationships, and experience monitoring the quality, quantity, cost and efficiency of logistics networks.
