Job Summary: The
Cloud Administrator joins a team of dynamic technology professionals and carries responsibilities in managing SaaS operations management and overseeing the company's cloud-native technology environment. This role is responsible for managing our portfolio of 30+ SaaS applications, ensuring secure integration through the companies’ identity infrastructure, and coordinating technology projects that support the company mission. This position will work in a compliance-focused environment where security, documentation, and attention to detail are paramount.
This is a hands-on technical role with significant project coordination responsibilities. This position will be the primary owner of our SaaS application lifecycle—from evaluation and onboarding through ongoing management and security governance.
Responsibilities And Duties
- Evaluate, procure, and onboard new SaaS applications aligned with business requirements;
- Configure and optimize existing SaaS platforms for organizational needs;
- Develop and maintain an internal wiki with technical documentation, manuals and IT policies;
- Contribute to and maintain system standards;
- Develop expertise to train staff on new technologies;
- Monitor security posture across SaaS portfolio and remediate vulnerabilities;
- Manage Privileged Identity Management (PIM) and access governance;
- Design and enforce Conditional Access policies for application security ;
- Implement and maintain SAML, OAuth, and other authentication protocols;
- Configure data loss prevention (DLP) and information protection policies;
- Configure and manage SSO across relevant SaaS applications;
- Administer Windows 365 Cloud PC environment for remote workforce;
- Provide Tier II, and III/other support per request;
- Troubleshoot SSO and authentication issues across platforms;
- Lead cross-functional technology projects from planning through implementation;
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors;
- Manage project timelines, milestones, and deliverables;
- Create and maintain project documentation;
- Facilitate change management and user adoption;
- Provide on call coverage, as scheduled;
- Perform all tasks and responsibilities with security as the core principal and ensure that all current and any new processes follow company security standards and safeguards;
- Support and optimize Azure-based services and infrastructure, including identity, networking, and security components;
- Other duties as assigned.
Candidate Requirements - Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs). To succeed in the Cloud Administrator position, candidates should possess the following KSAs:
- REQUIRED
- Microsoft 365 (AZURE AD, OneDrive, Teams, SharePoint, etc.) management;
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365 security and compliance features;
- Deep expertise with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) administration;
- Proven experience implementing SSO integrations (SAML, OAuth, OIDC);
- Familiarity with Azure infrastructure fundamentals;
- High attention to detail and superior organizational and time-management skills;
- Experience with Conditional Access policies and security governance;
- Ability to balance competing priorities and adapt to the changing needs of the business while meeting deadlines;
- Working knowledge of cloud service platforms, preferably Azure. Ability to work through and understand cloud computing concepts and security.

- PREFERRED
- Proven experience as a Cloud Administrator or similar role;
- Experience managing resources in Azure, AWS or Google Cloud Platform;
- Exchange or Office 365 mailbox management;
- Windows 365 or Azure Virtual Desktop experience;
- Remote endpoint management, preferably Microsoft Intune;
- Working knowledge of Zero Trust architecture;
- Familiarity with SAML troubleshooting tools;
- Background in information security or IT audit support;
- Microsoft Privileged Identity Management (PIM) experience;
- Working knowledge of Just In Time (JIT) management;
- Experience with API integrations and webhooks;
- Experience using and configuring Microsoft Purview policies;
- Experience configuring and reviewing security alerts in Microsoft Defender for SaaS applications;
- Background Experiences. The following are required unless otherwise noted:
- BS/BA in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline preferred, or High School graduate possessing demonstrated equivalent Cloud Administrator experience.
- Minimum 3 – 5+ years (5 preferred) full-time experience in professional systems administration.
- Microsoft certifications strongly preferred: SC-300 (Identity and Access Administrator), MS-102 (Microsoft 365 Administrator), or AZ-104 (Azure Administrator)
This is a full-time, exempt position located in the Company’s West Chester office; the incumbent is expected to be present and accessible for at least 40 hours per week, subject to approved leave time, travel and other absences as described in the Employee Handbook or as otherwise agreed by the Company. The Company’s standard hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 8:15 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
