Key Responsibilities
- Technical Support
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support to end users for hardware, software, and networking issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems promptly, escalating issues, as necessary.
- Resolve basic hardware, software, and networking issues both in person and remote.
- Provide inventory data for new/existing hardware/software and support maintenance and lifecycle plans that Sure Steel has outlined.
- Review and take action to cyber security risks/threats.
- Execute standard network configurations.
- Execute standard new user setup for key software used by Sure Steel (Tekla, Bluebeam, Spectrum, Paycom, etc.)
- Grant SharePoint access, storage, and function as an ambassador for standard best practices for data structure, archiving, and integrity.
- System Maintenance
- Monitor and maintain IT systems, ensuring uptime, security, and performance.
- Perform updates, backups, and routine maintenance on company hardware and software.
- Network Administration
- Assist with network configuration, including Wi-Fi, routers, switches, and VPNs.
- Monitor network performance and implement necessary changes for optimization.
- Security and Compliance
- Adhere to and enforce IT security policies to safeguard organizational data.
- Assist in audits and ensure compliance with data protection standards.
- Project Support
- Collaborate with teams on IT-related projects, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met.
- Evaluate and recommend innovative technologies to improve business processes.
